Intermittent electrical faults are the work we are best known for, and north central Florida manufactures them. Machines here get run through standing water in the wet season, parked wet, and vibrated over limerock. Water wicks up a harness, a ground strap corrodes under a clean-looking bolt, and the machine starts cutting out on one particular bump. Parts cannon does not fix that. Testing does.
Intermittent cut-outs
The runs-fine-then-quits fault, traced with the machine loaded and hot rather than sitting on a bench cold.
No-start and no-crank
Battery, starter, solenoid, kill circuits, safety switches and the ignition path, tested in order.
Charging faults
Stator, regulator/rectifier and charging output under load, which is where a battery that keeps dying usually leads.
Grounds and corrosion
Ground straps, chassis grounds and connector pins, the number one cause of ghost faults on a machine that sees water.
Harness repair
Chafed and melted harness sections repaired and re-loomed properly, not wrapped in tape and sent out.
Accessory wiring faults
Winches, light bars and audio wired in without a fuse or a relay are a common source of drains and shorts. We find them and redo them right.
