Ocala riders get two things nobody else around here gets: real OHV trail miles, and horse farms full of hard-working side-by-sides. About 25 miles east of the shop on US-27.
Every town around here rides different ground, and the ground decides what breaks. Here is what shows up on the lift from Ocala.
The Ocala Centennial OHV Trail is a 47-mile loop system through the Big Scrub in the Ocala National Forest, with a 20 mph limit and a permit required through recreation.gov. It only allows unlicensed vehicles under 65 inches wide. That single number decides what tires and spacers we will fit to a side-by-side that rides there, and it is the thing people find out about too late.
The Centennial trail runs through the Big Scrub, which is deep dry sand. Sand riding means low speed, high load and very little airflow through the clutch housing, which is the exact recipe for a glazed belt and a worn primary. Belt and clutch work is most of what we do for Ocala riders.
Ocala and Marion County are the Horse Capital of the World, with more than 600 horse farms across roughly 70,000 acres. Those farms run utility side-by-sides every single day hauling feed and dragging rings, and a farm machine wears out fixtures, bearings and belts far faster than a weekend machine does.
Ocala has dealers. What people trailer to us for is the electrical fault nobody could find and a quote that does not grow after the work starts.
Every service below is available to Ocala riders and farms at the Williston shop.
